wpid-sjsd-logo2.jpgMembers of the St. Joseph School District Board of Education meet Monday night to hear from seven candidates for an open seat on the board.

Each candidate will make a three-minute presentation to the BOE and the public on their reasons for applying for the vacant position, their individual qualifications, and an explanation regarding why they are the best candidate.

The order of the presentations will be made in the order of the applications received. Then the board is expected to select four finalists.

Margaret “Maggie” Elder, Dale Krueger, Aaron Duncan, Larry Koch, Jim Norris, Susan Willenbrink, John Hickman and Kenneth Reeder are the candidates vying for the seat left vacant by the resignation last month of Chris Danford.

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and is being held in the gymnasium at Edison Elementary School, 515 N. 22nd Street in St. Joseph. Watch the live stream here beginning at 6:30 p.m.
