Temps in the 50s to end January

We will end the month of January on the mild side with highs in the upper 40s to the north and upper 50s to the south. However, a cold front will move through the area today and bring an end to the mild weather, dropping highs into the mid 20s to mid 30s by tomorrow. We will experience a bit of a warm-up as we move into the weekend however, a few storm systems are expected this weekend that will drop temperatures and bring the chance for light snow. Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 30. North wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 12. North northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light north after midnight.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 35. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43.
