Northbound traffic on Heartland Road in St. Joseph, Missouri will be restricted to emergency vehicles only between Faraon Street and the Mosaic Life Care Medical Center Emergency Room entrance starting Monday. The closure is necessary for full-depth concrete replacement in damaged sections of the roadway along the west side of the Mosaic campus. During the project, only emergency vehicles will be allowed to use the Heartland Road ER entrance from Faraon, while other drivers should use different hospital entrances or approach southbound from Frederick Avenue. Single-lane closures will follow as crews continue repairs, and motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and exercise caution near the construction zone.
