The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph, Missouri, is marking its 60th anniversary as a cultural institution. Founded in 1913 by the St. Joseph Art League, the museum has been a hub for art, history, and community engagement. The museum acquired the William Merritt Chase painting “A Venetian Balcony” through fundraising efforts. The museum’s Director of Education and Museum Shop Manager, Alex Asher, engaged with residents during the 60th birthday celebration. Guests at the event had the opportunity to view various artworks on display.
